Description:
Formapen-LA Inj. is an off-white oily injectable suspension.
Formapen-LA Inj. is a single shot treatment in most cases
giving prolonged antibiotic cover.
Indications:
Gastro-intestinal, respiratory & urinary infections, otitis,
sepsis, secondary bacterial infections during or following
viral infections, post-operative infections, skin and soft
tissue infections, wound, abscesses, arthritis, omphalitis
and acute mastitis.
It can also be used by intrauterine Inj. to treat endometritis.
Dosage & Administration:
By deep I.M. Inj. only in ruminants. In dogs & cats by deep
I.M. Inj. or S.C. Inj. Shake well before use.
General Dose:
1 ml per 10 kg b.wt. Repeat if necessary after 48 hours.
Do the massage at injection site.
Do not administer via I.V. Inj. or Intratracheal Inj.
Poultry:
0.25 ml per kg b.wt.
Precautions:

Withdrawal Period:
Meat: 21 days, Milk: 4 days.
