Description:
Sparcin w.s.p. is a synergic association of two broad
spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotics Lincomycin & Spiramycin
which acts additively. Both antibiotics act by interfering with
the bacterial protein synthesis.
Lincomycin is essentially active against Gram positive bacteria
and anaerobic bacteria such as Clostridium perfringens while
Spiramycin is effective against many Gram positive and Gram
negative bacteria and has particular pulmonic empathy.
Indications:
Sparcin w.s.p. is indicated for the prophylaxis & treatment of
mycoplasmosis, CRD / CCRD, coryza, E.coli. fowl typhoid,
fowl cholera, necrotic enteritis, arthritis, infectious synovitis,
dermatitis and among others in poultry.
Dosage & Administration:
Prevention: 1 gm per 4 litres of drinking water.
Treatment: 1 gm per 2 litres of drinking water.
Continue the treatment for 3-5 days.
Withdrawal Period:
Poultry meat: 10 days, Eggs: 3 days.
