Description:
Farflor-25 % Oral Sol. is a synthetic, potent
and irresistible broad spectrum bacteriostatic
antibiotic that is effective against most
Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria
such as Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus,
Streptococcus, E.coli, Clostridium spp.,
Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale,
Staphylococcus, Proteus, Enterobacter spp.,
Shigella spp., Klebsiella and Salmonella by
inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis at the
ribosomal level.
Indications:
Farflor-25% Oral Sol. is indicated for the
prevention and treatment of colibacillosis,
pasteurellosis and bacterial respiratory
infections-saculitis, colisepticemia among
other gastrointestinal infections caused by
Florfenicol susceptible germs in poultry.
Dosage & Administration:
Oral via drinking water.
Prevention:
1 ml per 5 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Treatment:
1 ml per 2.5 litres of drinking water.
Continue the treatment for 3-5 days.
Withdrawal Period:
Poultry: 7 days
